The community of St. Andrews Channel can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

St. Andrews Channel is very car friendly. It is very easy to come across a parking spot. It is very difficult for people walking to get around in St. Andrews Channel as almost no common errands can be run on foot. The bike is a quite poor means of transportation in this community because the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of hills.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this area. Concerning eating, a vehicle is almost always needed in this part of Cape Breton Municipality to reach the nearest grocery store.

Character

People who prefer a relaxed ambience will enjoy St. Andrews Channel. Although the community does not contain any public green spaces, parks are badly-situated in nearby communities, which makes them very easy to reach. The noise levels in this community are also very low, as the streets tend to be very peaceful.
