Middle Cape

The community of Middle Cape is situated within the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the preferred method to get around in this community. It is very easy to find a parking spot. This part of the municipality is not particularly amenable to cycling because the bicycling network is quite bad, and the terrain is not especially flat. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot since meeting daily needs is nearly impossible by walking.

Services

This area does not contain any high schools or primary schools. In terms of eating, in all cases, a vehicle is needed to do groceries.

Character

Middle Cape is a fairly good community to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. This part of the municipality is quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, although this community is not home to any public green spaces, parks are sparse in nearby communities, which makes it very easy to get to them.

Housing

The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of Middle Cape is an important part of its character. About 30% of properties in this community were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This community offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly 90% of the dwellings in the community are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented.
