East Bay is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area is an extraordinarily convenient part of Cape Breton Municipality for travelling by car. Parking is quite easy. It is very impractical for pedestrians to get around in this area as running day-to-day errands is very difficult by walking. It is also challenging to commute by bicycle in this community as the cycling infrastructure is quite bad, and there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Cape Breton Municipality. With respect to eating, a vehicle is almost always needed in East Bay to reach the closest supermarket.

Character

East Bay is a good community to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm environment. There are a few green spaces nearby for residents to relax in, which makes it very easy to access them. This part of Cape Breton Municipality is also reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
