Huntington

The community of Huntington is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in Huntington. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very conducive to walking because almost no common errands can be run on foot. Huntington is also not particularly appropriate for biking as the cycling network is not very extensive, and there are a fair number of slopes.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Cape Breton Municipality. As far as food is concerned, a car is almost always needed in Huntington to access the nearest supermarket.

Character

Huntington is a great community to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. Most areas in this part of the municipality are especially quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, there are a few public green spaces close by for residents to unwind in, which makes it very easy to reach them.

Housing

Roughly 30% of homes in Huntington were built between 1960 and 1980, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
