The community of Scotchtown can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good transportation option in Scotchtown. Parking is easy. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in areas that are not very conducive to those who travel by foot as running daily errands is inconvenient. Scotchtown is also not very appropriate for bicycling as the cycling network is not very extensive, and there are a good number of hills.

Services

It is a rather short walk to reach both primary and secondary schools from anywhere in Scotchtown. In contrast, families may find it very hard to access daycares as a pedestrian.
