The community of Bras d'Or can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great medium of transportation in Bras d'Or. It is especially convenient to find a place to park. Bras d'Or is not very amenable to cycling as there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in places that are also not very suitable for those who travel by foot as running common errands is inconvenient.
