Transportation

This part of the city is a fairly convenient part of St. John's for pedestrians; many common errands can be run on foot, and numerous businesses are nearby. However, moving around by bicycle is at times challenging in Georgestown because the cycling infrastructure is sometimes poor, and cyclists are faced with a significant amount of slopes. Commuting by transit can be challenging in this neighbourhood as a result of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. However, this part of the city is reasonably car friendly. Many homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, and it is convenient to access a place to park.
