East Meadows

Part of the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, East Meadows is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured way to navigate East Meadows. It is convenient to find a parking spot, and nearby highways, such as Trans Canada Highway, are very easy to access from any location in this part of St. John's. On the other hand, the public transit system in East Meadows is not very practical. Nevertheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. East Meadows is reasonably bicycling-friendly. It is occasionally difficult for people travelling on foot to navigate this part of St. John's because few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Parents and their kids will welcome that no matter where their house is situated in this part of St. John's, daycares and schools are close by. Regarding eating, getting to the nearest supermarket by walking is feasible for some, but not all, property owners in this area.
