Transportation

This part of the city will appeal to physically active people because it is especially suitable for walking; many day-to-day needs are easy to carry out on foot, and plenty of businesses are close by. However, the bike is a sometimes poor method of transportation in Downtown St. John's because there are quite a few hills, and this neighbourhood is home to a somewhat poor cycling infrastructure. The public transit system in Downtown St. John's is not very convenient. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually just around the corner. On the other hand, driving is a fairly good transportation option in Downtown St. John's.
