Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Oakridge is a neighbourhood within Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Oakridge will please home buyers that appreciate a diversity of modes of transportation. Oakridge is transit friendly due to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Canada Line, and a few nearby bus lines. Active house buyers will also enjoy the walk-friendly nature of this part of Vancouver; many daily errands can be run without having to use a car, and various businesses are close by. Moving around by bicycle is easy in Oakridge as there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

Some, but not all, property owners in this area will live within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. On the other hand, Oakridge is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. Regarding education, parents and their children will value the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from vast majority homes for sale in this part of the city.
