Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Grandview-Woodland is a neighbourhood within Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Grandview-Woodland provides house buyers with several alternative modes of transportation. This part of the city will appeal to active people as it is very well-suited for walking; meeting daily needs is very easy, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Grandview-Woodland will also attract physically active house buyers as it is very suitable for biking. For example, a bike share station can usually be found in close proximity, and the cycling network is reasonably comprehensive. Owing to many nearby rapid transit stations on the Expo Line and Millennium Line, and around 10 nearby bus lines, Grandview-Woodland features a very good public transit infrastructure. This area is also a fairly convenient part of Vancouver for travelling by car. Many properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway.

Grandview-Woodland is good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - however some parts can be quite noisy, especially close to one of the railway lines. Public green spaces are very well-distributed and there are about 10 of them close by for residents to discover, making it easy to get to them.

Housing

Around two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood rent their home whereas owners make up the remainder. In this part of Vancouver, the majority of buildings are small apartment buildings, but duplexes are also present in the housing stock.
