Transportation

This part of the city enables property owners to move around using a diversity of methods of transportation. Grandview-Woodland is especially suitable for walking; most day-to-day needs are very easy to carry out on foot, and many businesses are close by. Grandview-Woodland is also a very pleasant part of Vancouver for bike riders. More precisely, the bicycling network is reasonably well-developed, and there is always a bike-share station in proximity. With a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Millennium Line and Expo Line, and about 10 nearby bus lines, Grandview-Woodland is very transit friendly. This part of Vancouver is also car friendly. Nearby highways are easy to access from anywhere in Grandview-Woodland.

In Grandview-Woodland, parents and their children will typically be able to reach schools and daycares by walking. Residents have the choice between public and private elementary schools. Even though the nightlife is limited, there are many people around most of the time. Grandview-Woodland is fairly good for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as the streets tend to be calm - however some areas can be quite loud, especially around one of the railway lines.
