The neighbourhood of Carey can be found in the municipality of Saanich, British Columbia, which is situated in the Greater Victoria metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area is especially car friendly. The majority of real estate listings are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, residents using public transit may have few choices in Carey as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are around 20 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are commonly nearby. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Carey, although many common errands can be run on foot. In contrast, this part of the municipality is a fairly convenient part of Saanich for bike riders. More specifically, the bicycling network is good.

The nearest supermarket in Carey is generally only a reasonably short walk away. Residents of Carey are served by a few restaurants as well.
