Part of the Greater Prince George metropolitan area, Chief Lake is a neighbourhood within Prince George, British Columbia.

Transportation

The car is usually the best way to move around in Chief Lake. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very convenient to come across a parking spot. However, Chief Lake is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is straightforward to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. Chief Lake is not very conducive to biking since there are a fair number of hills, and the cycling network is quite poor. Walking is also not very practical for house buyers in Chief Lake as most daily needs are difficult to carry out by walking.

Services

There are only a limited number of primary schools in Chief Lake and consequently they can be a rather long walk away. Moreover, this area does not have any high schools. With respect to eating, property owners in Chief Lake almost always have to rely on a car to reach the closest grocery store. There are a few choices for those who value nearby restaurants.
