Tillicum is conducive to walking; many day-to-day errands can be run on foot, and there are also a good number of businesses close by. Tillicum will also appeal to physically active people since it is quite suitable for biking. In particular, this part of Saanich features a fairly good cycling infrastructure. Commuting by public transit is convenient in Tillicum thanks to about 10 nearby bus lines. The car is very often the favoured method to move around in Tillicum. It is easy to park, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in this area.
