Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extremely convenient part of Nanaimo for travelling by car. Coming across a place to park is quite easy, and many homes for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway. In contrast, the public transit service in Pleasant Valley-Rutherford is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. This neighbourhood is not particularly conducive to walking because meeting day-to-day needs is occasionally challenging on foot. Pleasant Valley-Rutherford is also not particularly bicycling-friendly because there are quite a few hills, and the cycling infrastructure is sometimes poor.

Services
