The neighbourhood of Casa Loma can be found in the municipality of West Kelowna, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Kelowna metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in Casa Loma. Finding a parking spot is generally easy. Walking is not very practical for residents in Casa Loma as meeting daily needs is very inconvenient. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is amenable to bicycling.

Services

Accessing the closest supermarket on foot is practical for some, but not all, property owners in this part of West Kelowna. With regards to education, Casa Loma does not have any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, daycares are not plentiful and accordingly tend to require a very long walk to get to.

Character

Casa Loma is an excellent neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. This area is especially quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, there are a few public green spaces close by for residents to relax in, including Casa Palmero Park, and they are very well-spread out, making them easy to access.

Housing

About 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the remainder are renters. In this part of West Kelowna, many dwellings are single detached homes, and the remainder are mainly duplexes. About 40% of properties in this part of the municipality were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1990s and the 2000s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
