Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Capilano is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Travelling by bicycle is convenient in Capilano because. Capilano will also attract active home buyers as it is suitable for walking; many daily needs can be met without having to resort to a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses nearby. The public transit system in this area is not very convenient. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. In contrast, driving is an excellent transportation option in Capilano. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in Capilano, and parking is generally easy.

Services

In Capilano, families will typically be able to get to daycares and primary schools on foot. In contrast, Capilano does not contain any high schools. Regarding food, home buyers in this part of the municipality will appreciate that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away. Residents of Capilano benefit from a few restaurants as well.
