Countryside

The community of Countryside is part of the city of Grande Prairie, Alberta, which is located in the Grande Prairie metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good transportation option in Countryside. Parking is quite easy. However, Countryside is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the community, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. It is convenient to move around by bicycle in Countryside as Countryside boasts a good cycling infrastructure, and there are a limited number of elevation changes. Countryside is not very conducive to walking as most daily needs are challenging to meet without having to use a car.

Services

In this area, parents and their kids will typically be able to access both primary and secondary schools by walking. However, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. When it comes to eating, it is very rarely practical for house buyers in this part of Grande Prairie to shop for their groceries on foot.
