Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Carrington is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Travelling by car is very easy in this part of Calgary. Nearby highways are very easy to drive to from anywhere in this area, and it is very convenient to come across a place to park. In contrast, Carrington is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and most homes are close to a bus stop. Commuting by bicycle is sometimes challenging in Carrington because the terrain is not particularly flat, and there are a limited number of bike lanes. Travelling on foot is also not very convenient for home buyers in Carrington as meeting daily needs is inconvenient by walking.
