Situated within the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Carrington is a neighbourhood in Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Getting around by car is very convenient in Carrington. Parking is quite easy, and the city block layout is reasonably well suited for cars. In contrast, travelling by public transit is difficult in Carrington. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. Carrington is not especially bicycling-friendly since there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling infrastructure is somewhat poor. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also not very suitable for walking because running common errands is challenging on foot.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to do groceries. Nevertheless, pharmacies are typically convenient to reach on foot and supply some staple foods.
