The neighbourhood of Briarwood is part of the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, which is located in the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good medium of transportation in Briarwood. It is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in this part of the city, and it is convenient to find a place to park. However, Briarwood is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. The bike is a good mode of transportation in Briarwood since there are a limited number of elevation changes, and the bicycling network is fairly good. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not particularly convenient for those who travel by foot as most daily needs are occasionally difficult to meet without having to use a car.

Services

It is convenient to access the closest supermarket by walking in Briarwood. There are also a limited number of choices for those who value close by restaurants. With respect to education, in this area, parents and their children will generally be able to access daycares on foot. However, there are no primary schools and no high schools in Briarwood.
