Transportation

Driving is usually the favoured way to get around in University/SIAST. It is very convenient to park, and many properties for sale are a short drive from the closest highway. In contrast, public transit users may find few choices in University/SIAST due to the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually just around the corner. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not especially conducive to those who travel by foot as few common errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle. In contrast, University/SIAST will attract physically active home buyers because it is very suitable for biking. More precisely, cyclists do not encounter significant elevation changes, and the bicycling network is very extensive.

Daycares and primary schools are very easy to reach on foot from most properties for sale in this neighbourhood. In contrast, this area does not contain any high schools.
