The neighbourhood of Cityview can be found in the city of Regina, Saskatchewan, which is situated in the Greater Regina metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cityview will attract physically active people because it is reasonably well-suited for walking; meeting daily needs is convenient by walking. Despite the fact that riding a bicycle is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, this neighbourhood is not particularly bike-friendly since the cycling network is not especially extensive. The car is very often the best mode of transportation in this part of the city. Accessing a parking spot is easy, and the majority of properties for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway. However, the public transit system in this part of the city is not very convenient. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most properties.

Services

Purchasing one's groceries usually requires the use of a car in this neighbourhood. Nevertheless, getting to the nearest pharmacy and thus some basic food items is generally very convenient. There is often a restaurant or cafe in close proximity. Property owners benefit from a fair number of nearby clothing stores. As far as education is concerned, in Cityview, parents and their schoolchildren will almost always be able to access schools and daycares by walking.

Character

Cityview is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. This part of Regina is quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Finally, it is very easy to access public green spaces from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit.

Housing

In Cityview, roughly half of dwellings are small apartment buildings, and the rest are mainly large apartment buildings and single detached homes. This area offers mainly one bedroom and two bedroom homes. Renters occupy roughly 70% of the units in the neighbourhood and the rest are occupied by owners. Most of the housing growth in this area happened in the 1960s and 1970s.
