Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured approach to get around in L'Anse-à-l’Orme. It is very easy to access a place to park. On the other hand, L'Anse-à-l’Orme is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Cycling is very easy in L'Anse-à-l’Orme. However, it is challenging for people travelling on foot to move around in this area because common amenities such as hardware stores or post offices can be a rather long walk away.

Services

Families may find it very hard to get to high schools and primary schools on foot. In addition, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. When it comes to food, home buyers in this area almost always have to use a car to buy groceries.
