Transportation

Regardless of the mode of transportation, it is very straightforward to move around in Kent Park. Travelling by public transit is very easy in Kent Park as a consequence of 3 rapid transit stations (Côte-Sainte-Catherine Station, Côte-des-Neiges Station and Plamondon Station) on the Ligne 2 - Orange and Ligne 5 - Bleue, and about 10 nearby bus lines. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also very suitable for walking; all common errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle, and plenty of businesses are reasonably nearby. This part of Montréal is amenable to biking since the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably comprehensive.

Although this neighbourhood is not known for its nightlife, there are a very large number of people around most of the time. Kent Park is quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to one of the railway lines. Greenery is quite prominent in this part of Montréal as the tree canopy coverage for the majority of streets is good. There are approximately 10 parks nearby for residents to explore, including Parc Martin-Luther-King, and they are especially well-distributed, making it very easy to get to them.

Housing

In this neighbourhood, many dwellings are small apartment buildings, and the rest of the homes are mainly large apartment buildings.
