Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in Laurendeau. Most homes for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute de l'Acier, and it is convenient to park. In contrast, travelling by public transit is occasionally difficult in Laurendeau. Nonetheless, there are approximately 30 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Walking in Laurendeau is not very common, although most daily needs are convenient to meet on foot. In contrast, the bike is a fairly good method of transportation in this part of Longueuil since there are a limited number of slopes for cyclists to brave.

Services

Property owners in Laurendeau will value that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away. There are also a few options for those who care about close by restaurants and cafes. In terms of education, in this neighbourhood, parents and their kids will generally be able to reach daycares and primary schools on foot. In contrast, high schools are not particularly abundant and consequently not always within walking distance.

Character

Laurendeau offers a broad selection of green spaces to enjoy. To be more precise, a large number of locations in the neighbourhood have fairly good access to green spaces, including Parc de la Cité, since there are around 10 of them close by for residents to discover. However, the tree canopy coverage for the majority of streets is sub-par.
