The neighbourhood of Lake of Two Mountains can be found in the village of Senneville, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Lake of Two Mountains. Parking is quite easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Félix-Leclerc. In contrast, residents using public transit may find very limited choices in Lake of Two Mountains as a result of the low service level. Biking is at times challenging in Lake of Two Mountains because there are a good number of slopes, and there are very few bike lanes. Nevertheless, a fair number of people choose to move around by bike, and cycling is better in certain sectors than others. Travelling on foot is also not very practical for property owners in Lake of Two Mountains since common amenities such as hair salons or hardware stores can be an extended walk away.
