The streets are almost always busy with people, there is a vast selection of entertainment venues, and places to go out at night are well-distributed throughout the neighbourhood. Centre-Sud is reasonably quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue, although that is not the case closer to Autoroute Ville-Marie or one of the railway lines. Greenery is reasonably present in this neighbourhood as there are numerous tree-lined streets. Public green spaces, like Parc des Faubourgs, are especially well-situated and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to visit, making them very easy to get to from the majority of locations within Centre-Sud.
