Transportation

Bicycling is convenient in Lakeroad as it is an even ride to most locations, and the cycling infrastructure is good. This part of the city will also draw physically active home buyers since it is quite suitable for those who travel by foot; meeting day-to-day needs is convenient by walking. The best way to get around in this area is often driving. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from any home in this part of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, and it is easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Lakeroad is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop.
