The neighbourhood of sector X is part of the city of Brossard, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in this neighbourhood. Accessing a place to park is quite easy, and the vast majority of the street infrastructure is appropriate for driving. However, sector X is not particularly transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily close by. Despite the fact that some pleasant areas for bicycling can be found, and it is a flat ride to most destinations, sector X is not very suited for biking as the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed. This part of Brossard is not very convenient for walking since running common errands is at times difficult on foot.

Services

Getting to the nearest grocery store by walking is feasible for some, but not all, property owners in this area. With regards to education, sector X does not have any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, it can be very hard to get to daycares on foot.

Character

Sector X is a neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a laid-back ambience. Noise can sometimes be an issue in sector X, as during busier hours of the day, traffic can occasionally be loud. There is almost no greenery in this part of Brossard; however residents will find that there are green spaces in nearby areas outside of the neighbourhood.

Housing

In sector X, the majority of buildings are small apartment buildings, while the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings. This part of Brossard offers mainly one bedroom and two bedroom homes. Around 60% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. This neighbourhood experienced its biggest building boom following the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this time period.
