The neighbourhood of sector C can be found in the city of Brossard, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sector C is a very good part of Brossard for getting around by car. Nearby highways, such as Autoroute de l'Acier, are quite easy to access from any location in this neighbourhood, and it is convenient to park. However, travelling by transit can be occasionally difficult in sector C as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, property owners profit from Du Quartier with access to the Gare Centrale - Brossard. There are around 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Walking in sector C is not very popular, although running daily errands is easy on foot. On the other hand, cycling is convenient in sector C because there are a limited number of slopes, and this part of the city is home to a fairly good bicycling infrastructure.

Services

House buyers in sector C will welcome that a grocery store is always only a long walk away. A limited variety of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well. In terms of education, in this neighbourhood, families will usually be able to access daycares on foot. However, there are only a few primary schools in this part of the city and thus they can be an extended walk away. In addition, sector C does not have any high schools.

Character

The character of sector C is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. Greenery is not present in this neighbourhood; however, green spaces are very well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit, making it easy to access them. This area is also wonderful for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case closer to Autoroute de l'Acier or Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est.

Housing

Most of the housing growth in sector C has taken place after the year 2000. Small apartment buildings are the predominant housing type, representing the majority of buildings in this neighbourhood, and the remaining properties are mainly single detached homes and townhouses. Around two thirds of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the remainder are rented. This area also has a good variety of unit sizes - houses range from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
