Situated within the Greater Windsor metropolitan area, Sandwich is a neighbourhood within Windsor, Ontario.

Transportation

It is convenient to move around by bike in Sandwich as there are a limited number of slopes. Sandwich will also draw physically active house buyers because it is quite conducive to those who travel by foot; many daily errands can be run without having to resort to a car. Driving is very often the preferred method to move around in this area. It is a short drive to the closest highway, such as E C Row Expressway, from anywhere in Sandwich, and it is easy to access a place to park. However, the public transit system in this part of the city is not very convenient. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop.
