East Riverside

Situated in the Greater Windsor metropolitan area, East Riverside is a neighbourhood within Windsor, Ontario.

Transportation

The car is usually the preferred transportation option in this neighbourhood. Accessing a parking spot is generally easy. In contrast, the public transit system in this part of the city is not very practical. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Commuting by bicycle is convenient in this neighbourhood as there are few slopes to confront cyclists, and East Riverside is home to a fairly good bicycling infrastructure. This part of the city is not particularly conducive to walking because running daily errands is at times difficult on foot.

Services

High schools are not particularly plentiful in East Riverside, and accordingly not always within walking distance, and there are no primary schools. In addition, daycares are not very abundant and consequently may require a long walk to get to. Concerning eating, house buyers in East Riverside generally have to turn to a car to shop for groceries. There are also a few choices for those who appreciate restaurants within walking distance.

In this neighbourhood, the majority of dwellings are single detached homes, while the remainder are mainly townhouses. Most housing in this area was built following the year 2000, during its largest construction boom. This neighbourhood offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes.
