There are approximately 10 parks close by for residents to relax in, such as Captain Wilson and Devonwood Conservation Area, and they are very well-situated, resulting in them being very easy to get to from numerous locations within Devonshire. Since there are few pedestrians, this part of the city is relatively quiet; however noise levels are higher closer to E C Row Expressway or the railway line.

Housing

Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in Devonshire. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly 85% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and 15% are renters.
