Lincoln is a neighbourhood within Waterloo, Ontario, which is situated in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the favoured method to navigate Lincoln. Parking is easy, and it is a rather short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 85, from any location in this part of the city. However, the public transit service in Lincoln is not especially frequent. Nonetheless, commuters benefit from Conestoga Station on the ION Light Rail. The neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Moving around by bicycle is easy in Lincoln as bike riders do not face significant elevation changes. On the other hand, walking is not very popular in Lincoln, although meeting daily needs is convenient.

Services

Parents and their children will value the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from most properties for sale in this part of the city. On the other hand, Lincoln does not have any high schools. Families have the choice between public and private primary schools. With regards to eating, the nearest grocery store in Lincoln is generally only a reasonably short walk away. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well.

Character

The character of Lincoln is exemplified by its slower-paced atmosphere. It is easy to get to public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are about 10 of them close by for residents to explore.
