The neighbourhood of Playter Estates is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city will please home buyers that use several methods of transportation. This area is very conducive to those who travel by foot; many daily needs are especially convenient to meet on foot, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Bicycling is very common in this part of the city because a bike share station is usually located in close proximity, and the cycling network is good. Commuting by public transit is very convenient in Playter Estates. In particular, rapid transit stations, such as Broadview Station - Eastbound Platform and Broadview Station - Westbound Platform on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), are ordinarily nearby from the majority of properties in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are typically nearby. Moving around by car is also easy in Playter Estates. It is a very short car ride to the closest highway, such as Don Valley Parkway, from anywhere in Playter Estates.

Services

There are a few parks nearby for residents to explore, such as Lower Don Parklands, and they are especially well-located, making them very easy to access. Lastly, there are many things to do in this area to enjoy. Even though there is a limited selection of entertainment venues, the streets are very often busy with people, and places to go out at night are well-spread throughout the neighbourhood.

Housing

About half of dwellings are large apartment buildings, making it easy to find apartments in Playter Estates, and the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings, single detached homes, and townhouses.
