Situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Parkview Hills is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario.

Transportation

This part of Toronto provides property owners with the choice between a diversity of modes of transportation. Parkview Hills is a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for moving around by public transit. The neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. It is also easy for people walking to get around in Parkview Hills; many common errands can be run without having to resort to a car. The bike is a very good method of transportation in this part of the city.

Services

It is easy to get to the nearest supermarket on foot from any home in Parkview Hills. In addition, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of choices, and a limited variety of coffee shops is available as well. With respect to education, primary schools and daycares are convenient to get to on foot from most homes for sale in Parkview Hills. However, Parkview Hills does not contain any high schools.

Character

The character of Parkview Hills is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. The greenery in this area is prominent as many tree-lined streets are present. Getting to public green spaces, including E.T. Seton Park, is very easy from a large number of locations within the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to relax in. Most areas in this neighbourhood are very quiet, as the streets are generally very calm.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing many dwellings in Parkview Hills, while small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. This part of Toronto also has a good variety of housing sizes; it is quite easy to find homes ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Roughly three quarters of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. This part of Toronto experienced its largest building boom prior to the 1960s, so most of the available homes are from this time period.
