Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Little Italy is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario.

Transportation

Little Italy does not necessitate use of a car as various other means of transportation are at the disposal of homeowners. The very good public transit access allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. In particular, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Little Italy is also an extraordinarily pleasant part of Toronto for pedestrians; running common errands is very easy on foot, and plenty of businesses are very nearby. Active people will enjoy the very bicycling-friendly nature of this part of the city. For instance, this part of Toronto features a fairly good bicycling infrastructure, cyclists do not encounter significant elevation changes, and bike-share stations are hardly ever more than a few blocks away.

It is especially easy to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store on foot from anywhere in Little Italy. Character
