The neighbourhood of Grange Park can be found in the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Grange Park does not require driving because several other means of transportation are accessible. Owing to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and a few nearby bus lines, Grange Park benefits from an excellent public transit system. This area will also appeal to physically active people as it is very conducive to walking; meeting daily needs is very convenient, and there are also countless businesses nearby. Grange Park is a very convenient part of Toronto for bike riders. More specifically, the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably extensive, and bike-share stations are never more than a few blocks away.

Services

It is very convenient to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from any home in Grange Park. There are a few supermarkets in this neighbourhood, and the best selection can be found on streets such as Baldwin Street. Furthermore, thanks to over 100 restaurants and approximately 20 cafes, Grange Park is a great area in which to eat out. With respect to education, it is a very short walk to reach schools and daycares from any location in Grange Park. Parents have the choice between public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level.

Character

Grange Park has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. This neighbourhood has a very large number of areas to enjoy. There are many nearby entertainment venues, there are a very large number of people around most of the time, and places to go out at night are well-distributed throughout the neighbourhood. Most areas in Grange Park are reasonably quiet, as the streets are usually quite tranquil. The greenery in this area is not particularly prominent; to be more precise, residents will find that a large number of streets have below average tree coverage. Nonetheless, it is very easy to get to public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit.

Housing

About 70% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by renters whereas owners occupy the remainder.
