Transportation

This part of Toronto is an excellent neighbourhood for car-free transportation options. Christie Pits features a very good public transit system. Rapid transit stations, such as Ossington Station - Eastbound Platform and Christie Station - Westbound Platform with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), are not very far away from the bulk of homes in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. Christie Pits is also very suitable for walking; carrying out day-to-day needs is very convenient by walking, and many businesses of different types can be found as well. Christie Pits is a very pleasant part of Toronto for bike riders. More precisely, bike-share stations are hardly ever more than a short walk away, and the cycling infrastructure is well-developed.
