Owing to Long Branch on the Lakeshore West, and a few nearby bus lines, the fairly good public transit infrastructure makes transit a viable option for many people. Alderwood will also appeal to active people since it is quite well-suited for walking; running common errands is convenient. Alderwood is amenable to bicycling because there are a limited number of slopes.
