The neighbourhood of McIntyre can be found in the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great mode of transportation in this neighbourhood. It is very easy to park. However, the public transit service in McIntyre is not very frequent. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally a short walk away. Even though biking is more practical in certain sectors than others, it is sometimes difficult to commute by bike in McIntyre as the bicycling network is quite bad, and the topography is not particularly flat. It is also challenging for pedestrians to move around in this neighbourhood since very few common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to do groceries. When it comes to education, primary schools are easy to walk to from most houses for sale in this part of Thunder Bay. In contrast, high schools are not numerous and accordingly tend to require a very long walk to get to. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools.
