Part of the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, Cherry Ridge is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

Cherry Ridge is very car friendly. Many houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very convenient to find a parking spot. However, public transit users may find few options in Cherry Ridge by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically very close. The bicycle is a sometimes poor method of transportation in Cherry Ridge as the cycling network is fairly poor, and the topography is not particularly flat. This neighbourhood is also not very suitable for walking as very few daily errands can be run on foot.
