Transportation

Cars are a great means of transportation in Port Dalhousie. Many properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, and it is very easy to come across a place to park. On the other hand, Port Dalhousie is not an especially convenient part of St. Catharines for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually just around the corner. Commuting by bicycle is at times challenging in Port Dalhousie because the cycling network is not especially extensive, and cyclists are faced with quite a few slopes. Travelling on foot is also not very convenient for house buyers in this part of the city as running common errands is difficult.
