The neighbourhood of Old Town is part of the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, which is located in the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area.

Transportation

Old Town is quite car friendly. It is very easy to access a place to park. Active home buyers will appreciate the reasonably bicycling-friendly nature of this neighbourhood. More precisely, there are a limited number of slopes for cyclists to brave. Many of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are not very well-suited for walking because very few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

Families may find it difficult for their children to reach high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. In addition, it can be very hard to walk to daycares from homes for sale in this area. With respect to eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed to shop for groceries. Nevertheless, it is generally a reasonably short distance to the closest pharmacy, which can provide some staple foods.
