Long Sault

Part of the Greater Cornwall metropolitan area, Long Sault is a community within South Stormont, Ontario.

Transportation

Long Sault is especially car friendly. It is very easy to park, and the majority of real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. Long Sault is not very bike-friendly as the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive. Nevertheless, bike riders do not face serious hills. This part of South Stormont is also not very conducive to those who travel by foot as very few daily errands can be run without having to use a vehicle.

Services

Primary schools are very easy to reach on foot from any location in Long Sault. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this community. In terms of eating, it is very rarely an option for property owners in this part of the township to purchase groceries on foot. Nevertheless, pharmacies are generally straightforward to get to on foot and sell some basic food items. Residents are served by a few restaurants and cafes as well.
