The neighbourhood of Beavermead is part of the city of Peterborough, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Peterborough metropolitan area.

Transportation

Beavermead is especially car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Highway 7 & 115, are quite easy to drive to from any location in this area, and it is very convenient to access a place to park. However, the public transit system in Beavermead is not very convenient. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. The bike is a reasonably good method of transportation in Beavermead. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are not especially conducive to those who travel by foot because few daily needs can be met by walking.

Services

In Beavermead, families will usually be able to get to primary schools by walking. In contrast, this part of the city does not contain any high schools. In terms of food, it is difficult to reach the nearest supermarket on foot from any home in Beavermead. Likewise, a coffee shop is on average a rather short stroll away, and there are also a limited number of opportunities for those who appreciate close by restaurants.

Character
