Wateridge Village affords home buyers the choice between various means of transportation. Most houses for sale in this part of Ottawa are located in places that are quite convenient for walking; many daily needs can be met on foot. Riding a bike is adopted in this area because Wateridge Village is home to a reasonably good bicycling infrastructure. This neighbourhood is transit friendly. In particular, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are usually nearby. Cars are also a good mode of transportation in Wateridge Village. Coming across a place to park is generally easy.

Services

It is convenient to get to the nearest supermarket by walking in Wateridge Village. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well. With respect to education, daycares and schools are convenient to walk to from anywhere in this part of Ottawa.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Wateridge Village, despite its sometimes busy ambience. It is easy to access green spaces since there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in. Lastly, this neighbourhood has many areas that are very serene and quiet, although other spots can be noisy, especially closer to the airport (Ottawa/Rockcliffe Airport).

Housing
