The neighbourhood of Rural Area can be found in the city of Oshawa, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area.

Transportation

Rural Area is especially car friendly. Parking is easy. In contrast, the public transit service in Rural Area is not very frequent. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood. The bicycle is a rather limited method of transportation in this neighbourhood since there are very few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave. It is also very inconvenient for pedestrians to navigate Rural Area because almost no daily errands can be run on foot.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Rural Area. With respect to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed in this neighbourhood to reach the closest supermarket.

Character

Rural Area offers a calm atmosphere. Rural Area is very quiet overall, as the streets tend to be very tranquil. Public green spaces are distributed sporadically, resulting in them being occasionally challenging to access from many locations within this part of the city.
